The SOT-2M fire-extinguishing aerosol generator.
The SOT-2M fire-extinguishing aerosol generator is intended for containing and extinguishing fires involving highly-flammable and flammable liquids, solid flammable materials and electric equipment including live equipment under the voltage of up to 40 kV in closed spaces without explosion hazard.
The SOT-2M generator is composed of a housing which contains a solid charge which produces aerosol, an aerosol cooling unit, an electrical initiator unit and a bracket for fixing the generator to support structures. The generator’s housing has an electrical junction box intended for connecting the initiator unit to the start circuit.
The SOT-2M generator produces a radial aerosol discharge from the openings in the nozzle cover of the generator’s housing.
