The SOT-1M fire-extinguishing aerosol generator.
The SOT-1M fire-extinguishing aerosol generator is intended for containing and extinguishing fires involving highly-flammable and flammable liquids, solid flammable materials and electric equipment including live equipment under the voltage of up to 40 kV in closed spaces without explosion hazard.
The SOT-1M generator is composed of a housing which contains a solid charge which produces aerosol, an ejector which cools the aerosol spray and a bracket for fixing the generator to support structures. The generator’s housing has an electrical junction box intended for connecting the initiator unit to the start circuit. The SOT-1M generator produces an axial aerosol discharge from the openings in the nozzle cover of the generator’s housing.
