The SOT-2M-KV fire-extinguishing aerosol generator.
The SOT-2M-KV fire-extinguishing aerosol generator is intended for containing and extinguishing fires involving highly-flammable and flammable liquids, solid flammable materials and electric equipment including live equipment under the voltage of up to 40 kV in B-1a class explosion hazard zones.
The SOT-2M-KV generator is composed of a housing which contains a solid charge which produces aerosol, an aerosol cooling unit, an electrical initiator unit and a bracket unit for fixing the generator to support structures. The bracket unit has an electrical explosion proof junction box intended for connecting the initiator unit to the start circuit.
The SOT-2M-KV generators produce a radial aerosol discharge from the openings in the nozzle cover of the generator’s housing.
